Give/Serve

At LJCC, we believe that each person bears responsibility for managing and using his or her resources wisely for God. We often refer to these resources as our time, talent and treasure. They also include our connections, our influence, our spiritual gifts and our interests. We no longer belong to ourselves but now we belong to Christ. Therefore, we use everything we have to honor him and bless people. Everyone can give back in some way. What we give back might be tangible or intangible, but in every way it is a vital sign that we are created in the image of God. God is the giver of every good and perfect gift, and from the fullness of his grace we have been blessed with every blessing. It is not an exaggeration to say that the more we give back the more we grow, and the more we grow the more we can give back.
