Sunday Morning Check In Information for Kindergarten through 6th Graders
On every Sunday, except the first Sunday of the month, Kindergarten through 6th graders should check in at the Children's Ministry table located just outside the sanctuary.
If it's your first time joining us, please complete name tags and sign your children in on the Check In Sheet on the Children's Ministry table. Please pick up a registration form printed on blue paper that's located near the name tags and place it in the registration basket after you fill it out. After filling out the form, we'll input the information into our database, allowing you to use the computer check in (which is quicker and easier then manual check in) and ensures that you won't miss out on all the great things happening here at LJCC. You'll get plugged in with e-mail updates about what the monthly lessons are, memory verses kids are working on, and opportunities for your family to participate in.
After completing the name tags for check in, make sure to check the table for any informational pieces that might benefit you and your family. Your kids will join you in the service.
Approximately halfway through the service kids will be dismissed and blessed with a song of departing and follow our amazing teachers to their rooms (rooms 3-6). We have kids split up into small groups according to grade (k/1, 2-4, 5/6). If siblings want to stay together, we understand and it's no problem, but we do ask the older sibling to join the younger one.
After the service each group will end up on either the playground or grass playground. We do REQUIRE parents to come and pick up their kids from the playground and do NOT release kids to go find their parents. Due to variations in the service length and in an effort to maximize our time, we plan for our small groups to get out to the playgrounds at about 10:10 am or 11:40 am. The small group leaders are absolutely amazing (did I say that already?) and would love to meet you; please introduce your self to them.
