Get Connected!
Serving the Lord through the church is one of the best ways to get connected with people and make our church community feel like family. The opportunities to serve are endless, so it often takes time to figure out what God is calling you to do, where he wants you to serve and where you're feel the most fulfilled. That's okay! We want to help you in this process.
Perhaps you're eager to know your spiritual gifts before you figure out the best fit for you. Or maybe you're afraid you'll get in over your head. As we say, you have to start somewhere! Below are some simple ways you can start serving today...maybe you'll decide to stay in one of these roles, or maybe God will lead you on a broader path. This is a great first step!
10 Simple Ways to Serve on Sundays:
1) Greeter Team
If you're outgoing and friendly, like meeting new people, and enjoy offering a smile to make someone feel welcome and appreciated, then you'll love this job. Just stand out front and welcome people as they arrive to church!

2) Sunday Set-Up Team
If you'd like to help get our church ready for worship on Sunday mornings and don't mind getting up a little earlier now and then, we'd love to have you on our set-up team.

3) Sunday Usher Team
If you like people and have a heart for making everyone at our Sunday Services feel comforted and cared for, then perhaps our usher team is the place for you! You'll give out the bulletins, pass around the offering baskets, hand out Bibles, and more!

4) Sunday Coffee Crew!
If you realize that mingling with others over a nice cup of coffee and pastries is an important aspect of our Sunday morning patio time, then maybe you'd like to serve on our Coffee Crew!

5) Sunday Nametag Team!
If you're always thinking you wish there was a better way to remember people's names (other than asking them), perhaps you'd like to lead our new nametag team! All you have to do is stand by the sanctuary doors as people enter and ask them to them fill out a nametag.

6) Serve with our Children
If you love kids and desire nothing more than to see them grow in their love and knowledge of Jesus, then this just may be the place for you! Start in a simple role and move to a greater commitment if/when you're ready.

7) Serve with our Youth
Our Junior High and High School students are experiencing what it means to have an intimate, vertical relationship with God the father, Jesus his son, and the Holy Spirit. We’d love your help at our youth service Sundays at 10:30 am.

8) Serve at the Books Table
Help us give people access to wonderful resources to enhance their faith journey. Set up the books on the table, sell books and manage the cash box. You’ll be a part of a team that serves on a rotation basis.

9) Serve on Our Communion Team
Help out with Communion preparation and serving the first Sunday of every month.

10) Join the Choir, Worship Band or Mini-Choir
If you like to sing or have experience playing an instrument, then our Sunday Worship Ministry might be the place for you! Just call Dan for an interview!
