So, what does SHAPE stand for?
S = Spiritual Gifts (Part 1 of the SHAPE Profile)God gave you special abilities when you started following Him. The Bible refers to these as spiritual gifts. God gave us these gifts to build up our church family and reach out to the world with Christ's love.

H = Heart
God also gave you unique passions and a heart for particular activities, subjects and circumstances. God uses the things we feel deeply about to show us where we can serve. This is how people learn to serve with joy and not get burned out.
A = Abilities
Since the time you were young, and even before you became a Christian, God developed in you certain abilities that will help you in your ministry.
P = Personality
God has also given us a personality through which we share our SHAPE. Everyone's personality is not the same, which makes the expression of our SHAPE that much more special.
E = Experiences
Throughout your life, you’ve had a multitude of experiences which God uses to mold you for ministry. Your life experiences can help us know how to heal hurts of people in our church and in our community.
What will the church do with your results?
Once you’ve completed the SHAPE Profile we will enter your results into our church management software program (database).
Your SHAPE results are confidential and will only be accessed by church staff and appointed volunteers. The information will not be accessible through the Online Directory, unless you choose to display it (top 5 spiritual gifts only).
Once we have everyone’s results in the system, we’ll be able to search by gift (or any other one of the SHAPE fields) to reach out to people when specific opportunities arise that match their profiles — opportunities that they otherwise may never hear about!
